5 Wire (Can Be Uesd With Indicator Lights)

5 Wire & Signal Feedback—When the ball valve is fully open or closed, the actuator automatically cuts off power to prevent circuit overheating during prolonged operation. The control method employs reverse polarity wiring (black wire: negative terminal, red wire: positive terminal, white wire: common terminal, green wire: open position signal, yellow wire: closed position signal). The open/close position indicator lights illuminate.

Product Information

OP05 Wiring - 5 Wires,With Valve Position Feedback

1. There should be 2 power supply, one for electric ball valve actuator - red wire to positive pole,  black wire to negative pole; another one for customer’s position indication devices - the green wire outputting fully-open signal connects to one device, the yellow wire outputting fully-closed signal connects to another device, and the devices both should be connected to the positive pole of the power supply, and the white wire of the electric ball valve actuator connects to negative pole of the power supply, there conforms a closed circuit. The valve opens, the open position indication device receives the fully-open signal, will light up if lights are used as position indication devices.

2. Reverse polarity, the ball valve closes, the close position indication device receives the fully-closed signal, will light up if lights are used as position indication devices.

※ Once in position, there will be no power consumption for electric ball valve, nomial power consumption for position indication devices.

※ In case of power loss, valve will remain in its current state.

※ Voltage of power supply for option:5V DC/12V DC/24V DC

※  A DPDT switch is suggested for a simple set up.

FAQ:

1. What is the Waterproof Rating of this valve? +
The motor's housing is rated at IP67 for ingress protection. If permanently installed outdoors, it is recommended to place it under a shelter or in a protective box to prevent prolonged exposure to rain.
2. What is the difference between N.C. (Normally Closed) and N.O. (Normally Open) ? +
In a N.C. valve, it's closed without power and opens when energized. Conversely, in a N.O. valve, it's open without power and closes when energized, blocking fluid or gas flow.
3.What is the difference between Full Port and Standard Port? +
In a full port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is the same as the pipe it's connected to. In a standard port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is smaller than the pipe size.
4.Can this be used for Drinking Water? +
Only the stainless steel valve body is suitable for drinking water. Brass (contains lead) and UPVC valve bodies should not be used for drinking water.
5.For auto return valves, what is the minimum On-Time required for electrical storage to enable closing when power off? +
To ensure automatic reset functionality when the power is disconnected, it is essential to power the device for approximately one minute to charge the capacitor in 2-wire auto return motorized ball valves.
