Wiring Guide

OP04 Wiring - 2 Wires，Auto Return / Fail Safe

1. Connects red wire to positive pole, black wire to negative pole, the ball valve closes (the ball valve is normally open by default).

2.Disconnect either wire (the circuit is open), there is no power supply to the ball valve, the ball valve opens.

※ Once in position, there is a nominal power consumption to keep the capacitor charged.

※ In case of power loss, valve will return to its normal position, which by default is normally open valve. If normally closed ball valve is needed, please let us know when placing an order.

※ Voltage of power supply for option：5V DC/9-24V ADC/220V

※  A on/off switch can be installed in line with red wire for a simple set up.

※ Valve status feedback available for custom.

FAQ:

1. What is the Waterproof Rating of this valve? +
The motor's housing is rated at IP67 for ingress protection. If permanently installed outdoors, it is recommended to place it under a shelter or in a protective box to prevent prolonged exposure to rain.
2. What is the difference between N.C. (Normally Closed) and N.O. (Normally Open) ? +
In a N.C. valve, it's closed without power and opens when energized. Conversely, in a N.O. valve, it's open without power and closes when energized, blocking fluid or gas flow.
3.What is the difference between Full Port and Standard Port? +
In a full port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is the same as the pipe it's connected to. In a standard port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is smaller than the pipe size.
4.Can this be used for Drinking Water? +
Only the stainless steel valve body is suitable for drinking water. Brass (contains lead) and UPVC valve bodies should not be used for drinking water.
5.For auto return valves, what is the minimum On-Time required for electrical storage to enable closing when power off? +
To ensure automatic reset functionality when the power is disconnected, it is essential to power the device for approximately one minute to charge the capacitor in 2-wire auto return motorized ball valves.
